The Minnesota fire service is trusted and known to step up during emergencies. Of course, we see this happening right now during the current COVID-19 outbreak.
On April 17, Gov. Tim Walz asked the fire service to help battle COVID-19 in their communities by allowing residents to drop off homemade cloth face masks at fire stations statewide on Saturday, April 25 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Each mask should be individually placed in a plastic baggy.
